Receptionist/Admin Assistant
The Receptionist/Admin Assistant is responsible for providing efficient administrative and clerical support while maintaining excellent communication and a professional attitude. The role involves assisting visitors, managing office communications, coordinating logistics, and supporting staff with administrative tasks, while upholding organizational values and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in office management, secretarial sciences, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in office management (NGO experience is an advantage).
- Formal training in office procedures, Microsoft Office applications, and office equipment.
- Knowledge of office administration and basic bookkeeping procedures is a plus.
Language
- Proficiency in English and Amharic.
- Knowledge of a regional language is required.
- Additional national languages are an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls, direct them appropriately, and take messages.
- Greet and assist visitors professionally.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings, trainings, and workshops.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning, and correspondence.
- Manage travel arrangements, hotel bookings, and guest accommodations.
- Maintain office records, documents, and visitor logs.
- Support staff with logistics, event coordination, and administrative needs.
- Prepare payment documentation and handle office-related financial processes.
- Monitor calendars and coordinate staff engagement activities.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
