Role Summary

Join our radiology team and play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality imaging services that support patient diagnosis and care. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern imaging technologies while strengthening your technical skills and preparing for a successful career in radiology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT scan, MRI, and ultrasound, under supervision
  • Prepare patients for imaging by explaining procedures, obtaining consent where applicable, and ensuring comfort
  • Position patients appropriately to ensure high-quality images and minimize retakes
  • Operate and adjust imaging equipment under the supervision of a licensed technologist
  • Assist in maintaining radiation safety measures, including shielding and proper use of equipment
  • Participate in routine maintenance, sterilization, and calibration activities for imaging equipment
  • Upload, label, and archive digital images using PACS or other imaging systems
  • Support accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient records
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of imaging rooms
  • Follow all safety, infection-prevention, and patient-handling protocols
  • Participate in radiology team trainings, case reviews, and technical skill-building sessions

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a recognized Radiology, Diagnostic Imaging, or Medical Imaging Technology program
  • Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic techniques
  • Knowledge of radiation protection standards (ALARA principles)
