The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), or UN Human Rights, is the principal UN entity mandated to promote and protect all human rights worldwide. Headquartered in Geneva, it leads human rights efforts, monitors violations, assists governments, and empowers individuals through research and advocacy
